## Presentation of @:txt.soft

Coming from the educational world and now turned towards popular education, @:html.soft
is above all a network of projects, of which the first, [directory @:color.libre](@:link.libre),
dates back to 2001.

These projects are run by people working together with the same desire: promote
digital freedoms.

Respect for the fundamental freedoms of users, guaranteed by legal contracts
(the [free licenses](@:link.wFreeLicense)), is at the heart of the
free software movement and ensures that the humans remain in control
of their digital tools.

@:html.soft’s goal is to offer, mainly online, a set of concrete and
practical tools to facilitate adoption:

- of free software (directory, USB sticks, installer…);
- of free cultural creations (blog, translation, publishing house…);
- of free services (more than 30 free services in the project @:html.dio).

Presented as a “gateway to the Free World”, the @:html.soft network wants
to position itself as a bridge between the free software community and the general
public.

Surgido desde Viniendo del mundo educativo y dirigido hacia la educación popular, @:html.soft
es sobre todo una red de proyectos, de los cuales el primero, [directorio
@:linkcolor.libre](@:link.libre), se remonta a 2001.

Estos proyectos están conducidos por personas que colaboran en torno
a un mismo deseo: promover las libertades digitales.

El respeto a las libertades fundamentales de los usuarios, garantizadas por
contratos legales. (las [licencias libres](@:link.wFreeLicense)), está en
el corazón del movimiento y asegura que el ser humano mantenga el control
de la herramienta digital.

El objetivo de @:html.soft es ofrecer, principalmente en línea, un conjunto de
herramientas prácticas para facilitar la adopción:

- de software libre (directorio, memorias USB, instalador…);
- de creaciones culturales gratuitas (blog, traducción, editorial…);
- de servicios libres (más de 30 servicios gratuitos en el proyecto @:html.dio).

Presentada como una “puerta de entrada al Mundo Libre“, la red @:html.soft quiere
posicionarse como un puente entre la comunidad “libre” y el público en
general.

## The @:txt.soft association

The network @:html.soft relies on its large community of volunteers but
could not exist if it wasn’t supported by an association founded in 2004.

The @:html.soft association is a 1901 not-for-profit association whose character
of general interest authorizes a tax deduction. Which shows its willingness
to stay an association on a human scale (less than forty members, less than
ten permanent staff)

You will find below some information including our statutes, the rules of procedure
and the annual moral reports.

La red @:html.soft depende de su gran comunidad de voluntarios, pero
no podría existir si no estuviera respaldada por una asociación fundada en 2004.

La asociación @:html.soft es una asociación 1901 (legislación francesa)
sin fines de lucro de cuyo carácter de interés general autoriza una
deducción de impuestos. Tiene voluntad de mantenerse como una asociación de escala
humana (menos de cuarenta miembros y menos de diez empleados permanentes).

A continuación encontrará información que incluye nuestros estatutos, el
reglamento interior y los informes morales anuales.
